To add a front mounted hitch to your Chevy 2500 you will want the EcoHitch From Trailer Hitch item # EH57FR. This hitch is custom fit and and bolts to your truck with included hardware. I checked with EcoHitch and this hitch will fit the Duramax diesel model trucks.

This front mounted hitch has a 10000 lbs capacity for mounting accessories and a 10,000 lbs gross trailer weight. The 2" x 2" receiver sticks out at the bottom of the front bumper and does not effect your ground clearance.

I have attached a couple of pictures below along with an installation video so you can see what this hitch looks like when installed.
