For a trailer hitch and wiring for your 2023 Volvo XC90 I recommend the following:

The Draw-Tite hitch features a concealed cross tube, bolt-on installation, and a lifetime warranty. When it comes to wiring, Tekonsha is the most reliable. This wiring harness plugs in behind the taillights and will give you a 4-way to power your trailer's signal lights.
Since it sounds like you'll be towing you will also want a ball mount. Check out the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900. This kit has two ball mounts, one with a 3/4" rise or 2" drop and the other with a 2-3/4" rise or 4" drop. It also comes with a 1-7/8" and 2" ball, as well as a ball mount bag to store everything in.
