Can your Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System be used without the round 1inch spacer? Thank you,

The correct Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System for a 2003 GMC Sierra 1500 LD is part # TGMRCK15S for extended or regular cab models and part # TGMRCK25S for crew cab models. The springs once installed should be anywhere from 1/2" - 1-1/2" from the contact point. If you would like to decrease the gap then you can remove the spacer from the latter kit which would make the spring not engage as often.
