Question:
While pulling my 5,000 pound travel trailer I am experiencing some sag and I am worried that over time it may cause some problems. I am interested in purchasing a suspension enhancement system. I am torn between the Timbrens # TDR1500DS and the Sumo Springs # SSR-307-47 please advice on which system you would choose.

When choosing between The Timbren Rear Suspension # TDR1500DS and The SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SSR-307-47 for your 2022 Ram 1500. I would recommend The Sumo Springs # SSR-307-47 over the Timbrens. Neither will completely eliminate sag and not will completely eliminate sag but the SumoSprings will offer the same quality as the Timbrens in terms of suspension support, but will not give you as harsh as a ride that the Timbrens would. The SumoSprings initial engagement is lighter than the Timbrens which is what causes the jarring when in use.
I attached an installation video below of The SumoSprings being installed onto a 2013 Ram 1500. The installation process will be very similar to your 2022 Ram 1500. If you have any further questions please reach back out to me and I will be more than happy to further assist you on your towing endeavors.
