Question:
Im looking at the Firestone Basic Air Spring Kit. Is there some compensation needed since I have a 3inch lift on the truck? Thanks

Expert Reply:
The only Firestone Air springs that are confirmed to fit your 2002 Ford F-150 are the Firestone Sport-Rite Air Helper Springs item # F2320. The ones you are looking at do not fit your truck. Regarding your 3" lift. This kit will work if your 3" lift is done with just blocks.
The reason this will still work with a lift with blocks is because the item # F2320 attaches to the top of the leaf springs. You will want to make sure that from the outside of the frame rail to the inside of the tire is at least 6".
I have linked an installation video below.
For added convince I recommend adding the Firestone Air Command I item # F2158. This onboard air compressor will allow you to adjust the PSI in your air springs from the comfort of your cab.
