Question:
How many backing plates are suggested for the 5’ sections of e track? I would be mounting to a 12’ utility trailer with wood floor and metal cross members hauling 4 wheelers. Thank You

That is a good question, and you will need to use three backing plates for each 5 foot section of e-track, so the exact part you will need is the following:
- etrailer E-Track Backing Plates w/ Hardware - Qty 3 # e46RR
These will fit perfectly with the 5 foot sections of e-track that we have, which are available in either galvanized or black powder coated steel:
- Black Powder Coated Steel: etrailer Horizontal E-Track - 2,000 lbs - 5' Long # e25VR
- Galvanized Steel: etrailer Horizontal E-Track - 2,000 lbs - 5' Long # e45VR
