Question:

I have a 2019 ram 3500 pro master high roof. I already have a roof rack installed on my van. My question is this. Can the Thule awning be mounted to the left side of my van directly to the side wall? As opposed to on my roof.

I have a solution for you but there is no way to attach the Thule HideAway Awning for ProMaster item # TH64WJ to the side of your Promaster 3500. Instead you will need to use the Roof Rack Adapters for Thule HideAway Awnings item # TH490001 to attach the awning to your roof rack crossbars.

The crossbars on your roof rack need to have a 36" spread and they can not be wider than 3-1/2". The adapter has built in locks to secure your awning from theft.

I have linked a picture below of what this adapter will look like when installed. I have also attached a review video so you can see how this adapter works.

The only other option to attach this awning to your van is the Dodge ProMaster Van Adapter item # TH301649, which won't work because of your roof rack.
