The best hitch for your 2023 Buick Encore GX is going to be the Curt Trailer Hitch item # C94UR. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Buick with included hardware.

I really like this hitch and think it's the best option because it installs behind your rear bumper and the crossbar is completely hidden. The only visible portion is the 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" receiver.

This is a class I hitch with a 1-1/4" receiver. It has a 2,000 lbs towing capacity, and a 200 lbs maximum tongue weight.

If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # TK26VR if you have LED's or item # TK58FR if you do NOT have LED's and the Draw-Tite Drawbar item # 3593 and then for hitch balls item # 19258 for a 2 inch ball or item # 19256 for a 1-7/8 inch ball.
