Can Lippert Polarity Reversing Solenoid LC118246 Be Installed With a Strap

Question:
My present solenoid is trapped to the top of the pump motor with a type of hose clamp. The Part # appears to be 118246. Is the replacement part compatible with the use of this strap.

If the Lippert Polarity Reversing Solenoid # LC118246 looks to be the same design as the 118246 that you're currently using then you should be able to use the strap in the same manner. The only time something would change is if this part looks different than what you have.
