Recommended Fifth Wheel Hitch for Un-Level Terrain

Question:
I tow a 5th wheel trailer with a gooseneck adaptor. I would like to switch to a 5th wheel hitch which I have no experience with. Backing into my yard causes quite a bit of tilt between the truck and trailer. Also hookup does not permit the truck and trailer to be level with one another. My question is do 5th wheel hitches allow much tilting of the trailer? And would one be better than another. My trailer is about 9000lbs. 2011 Chevy 3500 dually

For hitching and unhitching on uneven terrain, the Curt Q24 you mentioned, part # C16245 would be ideal for you. The hitch features a spherical axial bearing that allows the hitch a full 360 degree tilt, not just side-to-side and front-to-back. This will lessen the chance of the hitch binding on the king pin.
The Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Hitch Install Bracket Kit you mentioned, part # C16411-204 would be the correct install kit for your truck. In order to install the fifth wheel hitch, the existing gooseneck hitch would need to be removed.
Depending on the manufacturer of your gooseneck, there might be another option. The Draw-Tite Hi-Rise, part # 9480 is compatible with Hide-A-Goose by Draw-Tite or Reese and Under-Bed by Bulldog. This option will only work with long bed trucks. If you have a B and W Turnover Ball hitch, and a long bed, the B and W Companion, part # BWRVK3500 would be an excellent choice. If you have the short bed, go with the sliding model, part # BWRVK3400. These hitch heads do not pivot quite as well as the Curt Q24, but going this would would allow you to retain the gooseneck hitch you already have.
