Running lights Not Coming On Trailer After Installing The Wiring Harness # ETBC7
Updated 10/03/2022 | Published 09/30/2022 >
Question:
I recently installed the plug and play 4 pin trailer harness to my 2022 ford bronco, then the 7 pin ETBC7, paired up with the Curt Echo wireless brake controller. For the ETBC7, I just ran the black wire to 30 amp then to battery terminal and connected 4 pin flat, seems good. Turn signals work, brake lights work, brake controller works, but the running lights on tear stay off, what could it be? Im not sure what to do. Thank you

With all the other functions working properly it sounds like you may have ran into a ground issue. You need to make sure all of the lights are grounded to a clean and corrosion free bare metal surface. If there is anything between the light ground and the metal trailer frame could interrupt the ground. Running jumper wires from the light grounds to the main trailer ground connector ground could help as well.
