Expert Reply:
Using a Brake Line Kit # DM5403 that uses all steel lines with the only exception being the rubber lines down to the axle so the suspension can travel will give you the most consistent braking for your trailer. The steel lines will not expand like the rubber lines in the Kit # 18TA-BLKIT. While the steel lines will be more difficult to install and must be bent with the correct tools to prevent putting a kink in the lines it is the better option. You can often rent the tools needed for bending the lines from your local auto parts store to keep costs down.
I do recommend using the Wrench Set # KLW to tighten the fittings so you do not round them off with a standard open end wrench.
