Troubleshooting No Brake Lights On Trailer With Curt Harness # C59236 For 2022 Hyundai Kona

Good night. I installed the Curt 59236 on my 2022 Hyundai kona, turn signals work, parking lights work except the brake lights. What am I doing wrong? Thank you.

That is quite odd that the turn signals are working fine but the brake lights are not. The brake lights and turn signals are sent along the same circuit for Curt Trailer Wiring # C59236.It sounds like you have a bad or weak ground on the harness. Brake lights require a constant power draw when activated, a weak ground may be allowing enough power for the turn signals but not enough to fully power the lights when your brakes are activated on your 2022 Hyundai Kona.
When attaching the ground wire make sure that you securely attach it to a clean, bare metal surface that is free of any debris or corrosion.
