What Ball Height Does Ball Mount of Stealth Hitch for 2022 BMW X5 Come With
Published 09/20/2022 >
Question:
My boat is parked in FL and I am in WI. The boat may require a lower ball height than the one that comes with part #SH25VR. How do I go about getting a different ball mount? Should I buy the standard one and try to exchange it later, or should I make my best guess at the height when I purchase the kit? What levels are available? My plan is to drive from WI to eTrailer in MO for the hitch installation and then proceed to my vacation home in FL.

With the Stealth hitches like the # SH25VR that fits your 2022 BMW X5 that comes with the ball mount there aren't any other options for ball mounts that would have different rises or drops. There is only the one setup that can be used and when we installed it we found that from the ground to the top of the hitch ball measures 19 inches which is a very common height that works really well for most trailers. If you measured from the ground to the bottom lip of the trailer coupler when level and found that it was 17 inches this would be perfectly level.
