Question:

I have a 2022 Sport Haven AUT612D utility trailer. 15 inch wheels, 3500 lb torsion single axle, bolt pattern is 5 x 4 1/2. I would like to add brakes. Wondering what hubs to order? Also will need to change the wiring harness from 4 pin to 7 pin? Can you help me to figure out what I need? Thanks very much!

Thanks for all of the info you gave on your 2022 Sport Haven AUT612D utility trailer. Since you have a 3,500 lb axle the brake assemblies part # AKEBRK-35-SA that you referenced is the correct kit to use. Then for hub/drums you'd want the # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K which fit the spindles you have, the brake assemblies mentioned, and also have the correct bolt pattern.

For wiring up the assemblies you'll want 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 which we sell by the foot. And then to convert your 4-way to a 7-way the best solution would be with the Epicord Junction Box and 7-Way kit part # 277-000141 which you'd run your 4-way wiring too and the brake output circuit from to the assemblies.
