Trying to determine how to secure post guides to our 2022 Ranger RT198 trailer. This trailer has rear steps on both sides and we would like to attach post guides. Would the U bracket code CES94FR work? Would we just drill thru the step? Thank you.

Yes, The Replacement CE Smith Guide-On Mounting U-Bracket # CES94FR can be drilled through the rear step on your 2022 Ranger RT198 Trailer.
The bracket is constructed of 11-gauge pre-galvanized steel.
