For your 2003 Ford E-250, I recommend checking out the:
-Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 14055.
This is a class IV trailer hitch that has a maximum towing capacity of 10,000-lbs, with a maximum tongue weight capacity of 1,000-lbs, and will work great with your 2003 E-250.
Additionally, to complete your towing setup you're also going to need a set of wiring, as well as a ball mount if you do not have one already.
If you're interested, check out the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C55344 for wiring and # C45340 for a ball mount.
