How Does Trailer Breakaway Battery Wire to Trailer with Aux Battery

Question:
Hello I have a trailer with a battery that I use for a 12k winch and I was wondering how do I wire up a breakaway kit with the already existing battery on the trailer

Basically you'll be wiring the 12 volt accessory circuit you have now that is charging the current battery also to the breakaway battery so that the charge circuit charges both batteries. Aside from that you'd wire up the breakaway like the Bright Way part # 3802336 the same way as it was designed to be wired. I attached a help article on trailer breakaway systems for you to check out as well.
