Can The Nissan Titan XD 5th Wheel Hitch Be Replaced To Fit Other Trucks

I have a 3 point fifth wheel hitch on my Nissan Titan xd 2018 it came with a 3 point holes in the bed. Now I have purchased a 16000 pound fifth wheel and my titan is too small Can I buy a truck that will work with my 20000 pound hitch Or will it need to be modified Thanks

If your hitch has the three point Titan XD base then it's only going to work with a Titan XD, but you can most likely replace the base with either an OEM or standard base to get it to fit your new truck.
For example, if you had the Curt A20 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Nissan Titan XD Towing Prep Package - Dual Jaw - 20,000lbs # C16540-16026 you could swap the base with part # C16906 to connect it to base rails in the bed of your new truck.
If your new truck has a puck system you could also get the corresponding branded base (i.e. for a Ford you would need the # C16017).
Just let me know what brand and model your current hitch and the year/make/model of the new truck and whether or not it has a puck system.
