How Much Will Door Open with Thule Elite Van XT 2 Bike Rack for Ram ProMaster Rear Door Installed

Question:

Hello. I’m considering this for occasional use on a ProMaster 3500. We usually keep our bikes inside but might want them outside for certain trips, so the rack would only be used occasionally. My question is whether the passenger side door can be full opened 270 degrees with the rack folded. If not, can the door still be fully opened if I removed the rack from the glued-on mounts? Thanks!

I am not sure of the exact degree the door can be opened with the Thule Elite Van XT 2 Bike Rack for Ram ProMaster Rear Door part # TH302013 installed but I do have a photo which shows the door open with the rack installed and bikes attached for reference. It looks to be about 90 degrees with the rack installed and bikes attached. I'm sure it's more without bikes and near full with the rack removed.
