Recommended Brake Controller and Brake Controller Wiring on a 2022 Honda Pilot w/out the Tow Package

Question:

Hi, I bought a 2022 honda pilot without the tow package and I am going to install the Redarc Brake Controller but I was wondering if the Honda comes with a connector already or do I need to purchase the Universal Wiring Harness for Redarc and splice in the connector? Thanks,

Since your 2022 Honda Pilot does not have the tow package then it will not have the plug and play adapter port. You will need to use the Universal Wiring Harness item # RED69FR to install the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller item # RED24FR you were looking at. This harness will allow you to splice into your Honda Pilot's wiring to connect the Liberty Pro.
