I would be happy to help you install the Redarc Tow Pro Liberty item # RED24FR in your 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee. If your Grand Cherokee has the factory 7-way, your Jeep will be prewired for a brake controller. You'll need the item # TK93VR wiring harness and the item # 331-TPH-017 adapter. The item # TK93VR harness will plug into the factory connector located under the dash to the left of the steering column. The item # 331-TPH-017 adapter plugs into the harness, the other end plugs into the controller. This will give you a complete plug and play installation that requires no cutting or splicing of wires.
If your Grand Cherokee does not have the factory 7-way, you'll need two harnesses. The first is the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Connector item # 118727. You'll also need the Universal 7-Way Connector item # ETBC7.
We have a couple of other mounting options for the control knob that can go inside inserts in your dash. This will give you a clean factory look install. The Universal Mounting Panel for Redarc Tow-Pro Trailer Brake Controller Control Knob item # 331-TPSI-001 which measures 1-1/4 by 1 inch. There is also the option of using the Mounting Panel for Redarc Tow-Pro Trailer Brake Controller Control Knob item # 331-TPSI-002 for the more standard knock-out measuring 1-1/4 by 7/8 inch.
