Question:
Are there any problems installing this on a 2012 Double cab Tundra?

Expert Reply:
Your 2012 Toyota Tundra with Double Cab is fully compatible with this Firestone Air-Ride Rear Axle Helper Spring Kit, part # F2445. The kit includes all parts required for installation and manual pressure adjustment.
Air bags provide a convenient way to level your truck when carrying an uneven load, support your existing leaf springs to prevent sagging, and improve ride quality. However, they do not increase your Tundra weight-bearing capability. It is important that the air bags have at least 5 psi pressure at all times.
If you would like in-cab adjustment capability Firestone offers two Level Command Compressors. Their single-function unit, part # F2158, allows one set of air bags to be adjusted equally. The dual-function unit, part # F2178, allows independent side-to-side capability.
For reference I have linked several articles concerning Firestone suspension products as well as the installation instructions for the air bag kit.
