The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs you referenced, part # F2445, fit both 2WD and 4WD versions of the 2012 Toyota Tundra and do require removal of the stock jounce bumpers. These need to be cut off as close as possible to the brackets (on top of the leaf springs).
You will also need to temporarily unbolt the fuel relay box (which is shown in your photo) and move this aside during installation of the Firestone springs. The emergency brake line bracket may also need to be bent slightly. Please take a look at the linked step-by-step installation instructions which include illustrations.
Although it is not absolutely necessary Firestone recommends use of an air line cutter in order to ensure perfectly square cuts of the air line. Clean square cuts will usually provide a better long-term leak-free seal, recommended to use a tubing cutter such as # AL10530.
When selecting a location to install the inflation valves keep in mind that you want these to be both protected from damage but still easily accessible, and you want to take care that the air lines do not have to make sharp bends which could interfere with air flow. Route them to avoid sharp edges of the vehicle frame and any exhaust components whose heat could damage them.
Please note that a minimum of 5 psi pressure must be maintained in the air springs at all times. This is necessary to prevent damage. They can be operated with as much as 100 psi pressure. You can choose your preferred inflation pressure to suit your particular load. It is recommended to fill the air bags gradually, with frequent checks of the inflation pressure.
If you wish to have in-cab control of air pressure you can add a Level Command compressor. These are available in both single- and dual-function models. The single-function unit # F2158 allows the springs to be inflated equally; the dual-function unit # F2178 allows independent pressure settings for each spring to allow leveling of an uneven load. These are not required for manual inflation/deflation.
Please note that no type of aftermarket suspension enhancement product can increase the weight-bearing capacity of your truck, which remains as specified by the manufacturer.
