Why Is There An Exclusion For 4.6L Engines On The Blue Ox BX2164 When There Isn't A 4.6L Option

Question:
Your description for the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit - Fixed Arms Item # BX2164 states, excluding 4.6L Engine and Lightning. Heres the problem: Ford never made a 4.6L engine for the 95 F150. The engine choices are a 4.9L inline 6, a 5.0L V8 and a 5.8L V8. Did you mean to exclude the 4.9L engine?

I looked into it and there indeed was not a 4.6L engine in the 1995 Ford F-150 and that the base was a 4.9L engine. The tech note actually comes from Roadmaster stating that 4.6L engines would interfere with fitment so I called Roadmaster and they are standing by that tech note and saying that the 4.9L engines are fine.
I guess someone stuck a 4.6L engine in one and then contacted Roadmaster when the baseplate didn't fit and we carried the note over to the Blue Ox baseplate as well since it mounts in the same fashion. According to Roadmaster you should be good to go with the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX2164.
