Looking for a heavy duty side mount for a spare tire for a flat bed car trailer. I thinking about bolting it on. Its for 16 tire.

I have a solution for you but you're going to have to make sure you can bolt this tire carrier near the edge of your trailer. It is the Demco Spare Tire Carrier for up to 4" Trailer Tongue item # DM15851-76. The height to the center of the carrier is only 13-3/4" so you will run into clearance issues if you don't have the tire hanging off of the side.
If you car trailer has the standard 2x4 stake pockets you will want to use the Brophy Trailer Stake Pocket Spare Tire Carrier - Black Powder Coat item # SPTC.
