I installed the C59236. The running lights work on the trailer, but the turn and stop lights do not work

The first thing I would do is double check the vehicle wiring type to make sure you connected the # C59236 wiring harness to the correct wires per the instructions. Once this is done I would make sure the connections on the quick splice are secure.
Afterward, I would go ahead and test them using a circuit tester like the # PTW2993. Assuming the connections are good and you are connected to the correct wires, you should get power right at the quick connector. If you don't, you are likely spliced into the wrong wire and need to identify the correct wire.
The other thing I would double check is the ground connection. Make sure it is secure on a clean, bare-metal surface. This is often the cause of many wiring issues when certain functions aren't working as they should.
