Weight Distribution Recommendation for 2022 Ram 1500 Towing 2021 Outdoors RV 26KVS

Question:

I have a 2022 Ram 1500 4x4 ecodiesel and tow a 2021 Outdoors RV 26kvs. Its rated at 7295DW and 9995GW. I have an E2 weight distribution hitch rated to 10k and utilize Sumosprings blue. The factory stated tongue weight is 760 pounds but believe its understated. With that said Im not happy with the ride and squat. The sumosprings have helped but feel like the weight distribution is good and have too much sway still. Should I be utilizing a 12k 1200lbTW system to help and or go to Sumosprings black as well?

The biggest improvement you'll be able to make in terms of ride quality will be switching to a higher rated weight distribution system because of the rear coil springs you have on your 2022 Ram 1500. The coil spring suspension setup of your vehicle requires a higher rated system than leaf spring setups. The best solution will be to go with the Reese Strait Line system part # RP66084 which has a tongue weight rating of 600-1,200 lbs and features best sway control that fights sway before it starts.
