Updated 06/22/2022 | Published 06/21/2022

Question:

Hi, I am looking to replace the wheel/tire for my trailer. The specs on the tire says 4.80/4.00-8 5 lugs. I did a little search and found part number AM30000? Would this be the right replacement. Ive added a couple pictures so you can see what I am looking for. Thanks for your help in advance.

When it comes to replacing your 4.80/4.00-8 with a 5 lug bolt pattern I recommend The Kenda 4.80/4.00-8 Bias Trailer Tire with 8 inch Galvanized Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - Load Range B # AM30030.

This tire and wheel combo has a wheel capacity of 910 pounds and has a load range B with a ply rating 4 and a tire maximum load capacity at 590 pounds at 60 psi. The steel wheel is galvanized for a superior corrosion resistance. The speed rating of this tire is 65 mph.

I attached a review video link below.
