Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Hydrastar adjustable winch stand assembly for trailer tongues. Now, this adjustable winch stand assembly is going to be a heavy duty mounting solution that's designed to securely support a trailer winch and make loading and securing your boat a whole lot easier. This stand features a three inch by four inch upright post that's going to give you excellent strength and stability, making it well suited for both marine and utility trailer applications. But one of the key advantages of this assembly is going to be that it's compatible with popular, many popular trailer winches in the 2,000 to 3,500 pound capacity range, including the model of winches that you see there on your screen identified by those model numbers there.

So all that to say, this is going to be a very practical replacement or upgrade option for a wide variety of trailers. So let me give you an overhead look here real quick and you see the mounting holes there, but I also wanna give you a measurement of just the plate itself so you have a good idea of the size. So just the overall length roughly we're about a foot, and then the overall width about five inches. And then going back out to my wide view here, our bottom mounting plate here, again, we have mounting holes there, but the overall length is about 15 inches and then the overall width is gonna be right at about five inches. I do wanna point out that this does not include any hardware to either mount this to your trailer tongue or mount a winch.

So you would just have to supply the hardware yourself that's gonna work best for your particular application. So this stand is designed with this 45 degree angled mounting surface. So that's going to help align your winch with your trailer's bow stop and the boat's bow eye and that's going to help with the alignment. And that alignment is going to help improve winching performance and make loading your boat a whole lot smoother and more controlled. Giving you a closeup here, I just wanna show you the set screw here.

That is what you're going to use to secure this when you actually have the height set for where you want it. So I do have this completely loose and I just wanted to show you the adjustability here. So going back out to my wide view here, just wanna lift this up here just a little bit to show you. So this is going to give you a maximum height of about 48 inches. And again, you're gonna be able to fine tune that height where you need it.

Once you have it where you need it, you'll just tighten down that set screw. But having it fully retracted as I have it now, just measure it from the surface that it's going to be mounted on to the top of our mounting plate here where the winch is gonna be, we're sitting at about 26 inches when this is fully retracted. So this is designed for long-term durability. This assembly is finished with a hot dipped galvanized coating that's gonna obviously help resist rust and corrosion. That protective finish is gonna make it especially well suited for marine environments where exposure to water and the elements is gonna be very common.
