Yes, the Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter # DM8550045 is an excellent option for your B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # BWGNRK1384 on your 2017 Ram 2500. The only thing you'll want to check is that you have enough turning clearance so your 5th wheel trailer doesn't make contact with your truck cab. If you're unsure how to determine this here is our formula:
(A + B) - C = Clearance
A = Distance from center of fifth wheel hitch jaw to truck cab (or gooseneck hitch ball)
B = Length of offset (3")
C = Width of trailer divided by 2 (to get half)
You need at least 4" of clearance to be able to make a 90 degree turn.
