Is the Curt Crosswing with Gooseneck adapter kit compatible with a Rotaflex king pin? Is a lock out kit required for the Rotaflex as is required for the Anderson hitch?

Expert Reply:
I spoke with a representative of Curt, who told me the Rota-Flex pin box and CrossWing adapter are indeed compatible. I was also told that no lockout is required to use the two together, so you are good to go with the following:
- Curt CrossWing Lightweight Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Hitch Adapter # C32DR
The only thing I recommend adding with the CrossWing # C32DR are safety chains just for the added backup connection and peace of mind. You can add those with the Safety Chains for Curt CrossWing # C95NR.
