Can you tell me the minimum distance between the mounting holes on this winch. DL 14725 My trailer mounting holes are three inches apart.

I will be happy to show you the mounting hole dimensions for hand winch # DL14725. I have included a picture that shows them for you. This winch can be used with either a strap, # DL24249, or a cable # DL24104. Straps are much better for marine applications because they will not rust.
The strap is rated for 4,000 pounds and the cable is rated for 3,500 pounds. You always want the cable or strap capacity to be at least 1.5 times greater than the winch capacity or higher for safety.
