I currently have a dl mod.1802a on my boat trailer pulling a 17ft. Lund explorer. will the mod.15440 line up with my current bolt holes/

The bolt hole spacing as well as the bolt hole pattern is different when you compare the # DL14627 (which is the 1802A) to the # DL15440 (3200A). The overall dimensions differ as well. I am attaching some pictures showing the bolt hole measurements as well as the dimensional drawings of the two different winches for your reference.
