Recommended Trailer Brake Controller For a 2021 Ford Ranger Tremor With Factory Tow Package

I have a fully loaded ford ranger tremor with the tow package i need a brake controller got a quote for the ford one for 1200 dollars installation is there an other safe choice ? Thanks

I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED52VR for your 2021 Ford Ranger Tremor with the factory tow package. The small footprint of the control knob is ideal as there is not a lot of open space on your dash. This controller comes with a universal wiring harness that you will be able to splice to the 4 wires which are sticking out of the large wire harness that goes through the driver's side firewall, left of the brake pedal, with shrink tubing on the ends.

As this is a stand alone controller it will not require you to have your computer reprogrammed like the factory brake controller you were quoted.
