Is there an instruction sheet to guide which wires to connect to what to install it to the 3rd brake light?

There sure is!

The Redarc Encapsulated Power Diode for Tow-Pro Brake Controllers # RED34FR you were looking at gets wired as shown in the included diagram.

One of the red wires goes to the red brake output wire on your trailer brake controller, the orange wire gets connected to the input wire going from the vehicle wiring to the third brake light, and the other red wire gets connected to the wire going to the third brake light.
