Recommended Weight Distribution Hitch For A Coachmen Apex Nano
Updated 06/14/2022 | Published 06/13/2022 >
Question:
Ive ordered a new Coachmen Apex Nano 213rds. Since, like all RVs, I expect a decent wait time until delivery, Id like to start purchasing some needed essentials ahead of time to spread out my expenses. Is it a bad idea to purchase a WD/Sway control hitch before I have the rig? I obviously know the measurements of my TV, and I know the hitch weight for the model of WD hitch I need at least the general range it will be, but dont know the exact measurements of the coupler of the leveled trailer. Is there anywhere to get that information? I havent seen it on any manufacturer dimensions. Should I just wait until the unit comes in to my dealer?

When it comes to installing a weight distribution hitch on your Coachmen Apex Nano you would first need to know what the maximum tongue weight capacity will be for the trailer. We would also need to know how much tongue weight you plan on hauling.
The Blue Ox TrackPro Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control - 7-Hole Shank - 6K GTW, 600 lbs TW # BLU36FR will haul a tongue weight between 200 pounds to 600 pounds. Anything lower or higher then the actually fully loaded tongue weight of your trailer could cause more sway and could be more dangerous then not having a weight distribution hitch on at all.
I attached a few help articles to explain how to find your tongue weight. I also attached a review video link below.
