Want to travel w spare hub assembly, I have a trailstar U1548SPT Can u recommend a full replacement hub?

To find the right replacement hub for your Trailstar trailer you will need to identify your current bearings and also know your bolt pattern. The bearings may have the part number stamped in the side which can be used to identify them. If the part number is not present, or has worn off, you will need to measure.

The measurement you need is the inner diameter of the bearings. You can also measure the spindle where the bearings ride. This is a precise measurement so I recommend using a digital caliper like the # PTW80157. Once you have the inner diameter you will be able to find the corresponding bearings and then match them to the correct hub replacement.

For example, if you find that both the inner and outer bearing have an ID of 1.063" you have # L44649 bearings. Assuming you also need a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern, you would be able to use the # 8-258-50UC1-EZ you were looking at. If you have different measurements you can let me know and I will be happy to help you find the correct replacement.

I have attached a link to all of our bearings and hubs for your reference. The bearings can be filtered down by ID and then the hubs can be filtered by the bearing numbers.
