Question:

I have a Lowe 16 foot boat trailer with L44649 bearings inner and outer the only thing I can find on the axle is a number 6289103. What hubs would Work for this trailer? I am looking at the 8-258-50UC1-EZ.

Based on your inner and outer bearing being the L44649 bearing, the Trailer Hub Assembly # 8-258-50UC1-EZ will work well for you. You will want to confirm that your existing hubs have a 5 on 4-1/2 inch wheel bolt pattern. I was unable to find any information with the 6289103 number you provided.

The galvanized hub assembly I recommend is the Trailer Idler Hub Assembly # AKIHUB-545-2-G-EZ-2K. If you do not have an EZ lube axle, you can use # AKIHUB-545-2-G-2K.

If your hubs have a 4 on 4 inch wheel bolt pattern you can use # AKIHUB-440-2-G-2K for a standard axle and AKIHUB-440-2-G-EZ-2K for an EZ lube axle.

All of these hubs use L44649 for the inner and outer bearings, and use a grease seal with an inner diameter of 1.50 inches and outer diameter of 1.987 inches.
