Currently the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver # 24984 is our only receiver that is confirmed to fit your 2022 Mazda 3 hatchback. The EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # EH23VR that you found is only confirmed to fit the 2019-2020 Mazda 3 sedan.
The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118808 will give you a 4-way flat connector. This connector is needed for the lights on most small trailers you may pull and can also be used with Auxiliary Lights # C53201 on any hitch mounted accessory that impairs the view of your tail lights. The Mounting Brackets # 18140 and # 18144 will allow you to secure the 4-way to the receiver if you opt to run the connector outside the vehicle.
