Kit to Convert Manual Dometic RV Awning to Power

Mine is actually a Weather guard awning now owned by dometic. Will the Solera drive and idler work on it?

The only version of the Solera awning idler heads that have wires in them are the ones that have speakers built into them. If you were wanting to replace your Dometic manual awning with a 12 volt power setup Solera has their kit part # LC434723 which would work great for this. It's the standard 69 inch tall and the idler head does not require power like you mentioned wanting.
