Recommended Trailer Wiring For A 2020 Ford Explorer

Question:
Will your harness 118272 work on my 2020 police Explorer? Vin # 1FM5K8ABXLGC94513. The original Y harness got removed when SUV was taken out of service. Id also like to have a dual 4 and 7 if possible.

When installing a trailer wiring harness on your 2020 Ford Explorer The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 7-Way Trailer Connector # 118272 is not confirmed for your vehicle. Since your vehicle had the harness stripped out I recommend The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118599.
The # 118599 plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located inside your trunk, behind the tail lights on both the driver's side and passenger's side. You will also have to run the hot lead to the battery.
To be able to run the 4 flat and 7 round The Adapter 4-Pole to 7-Pole and 4-Pole # 37185 is needed. This adapter will have 4 different wires that you will need to connect I listed them down below:
White - Ground
Blue - Brake
Black - Hot Lead - 12 Volt Power Supply
Purple - Auxiliary
