Question:

I have a 1997 shoreline boat trailer I need a hub assembly for it it has a 11/4 axle it takes same bearing on inside and outside

It sounds like you have a 2,000 lb axle on your 1997 Shoreline Boat Trailer. I'm also assuming you have a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern since you were looking at the # AKIHUB-545-2-LF-2K. In order to make sure you choose the right hub assembly you are still going to need to look at your bearings and identify them.

You may be able to find a part number stamped on the side of your current bearings. If not, you will need to measure the inner diameter of the bearing or your spindle where the bearings ride. I recommend using a digital caliper like the # PTW80157 for an accurate measurement. See the diagram below which shows where to measure.

If you find that your bearings have an inner diameter of 1.063" then you have # L44649 bearings and can use the # AKIHUB-545-2-LF-2K. If you find that your bearings have an inner diameter of 1.00" then you have # L44643 bearings and will need the # AKIHUB-545-2-1K instead.
