Published 05/10/2022 >
Question:
My trailers original tires took 80 PSI. My replacement tires say 65 PSI. Item #AM31206 I assume I should run 65 PSI max but want to make sure. Total load is less than 1000 lbs normally. What should my target cold inflation for the new tires be?

All trailer tires should be inflated to their max psi rating when cold. The Kenda S-Trail ST145R12 Radial Trailer Tire with 12" Galvanized Spoke Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - Load Range D # AM31202 should be inflated to 65 psi when cold so that you get the full weight capacity and heat buildup and potential failure.
