Question:

I need to replace my 5.30-12 tires on a Livin Lite Quicksilver 8 pop-up camper. I notice that some 5.30-12 tires specify a 4inch rim and others a 4.25inch rim. I dont know the rim size of my wheel, so my questions are: Can a tire specifying a 4inch rim size be mounted on either a 4inch rim or a 4.25inch rim? Can a tire specifying a 4.25inch rim size be mounted on either a 4inch or a 4.25inch rim? Sorry if this topic has been covered previously on your excellent web site. Thanks,

If you have a 5.30-12 tire size on your trailer currently I can safely recommend any of the 5.30-12 trailer tires we offer knowing that they will fit your rims.

The part # AM10068 would be a great tire for you to use as it has a Load Range of D and will fit your rim. Generally speaking all 5.30-12 tire will fit either a 4 inch or 4-1/4 inch wide rim. Nearly all of these tires are mounted on 4 inch wide rims so I would be surprised if yours was a 4-1/4 inch wide rim.
