Can I Cut the Tracks of the Rhino-Rack # Y02-480B Down to 50 Inches Long?

I want to use this product on a 2005 Wrangler with hard top. Everything I find is too long. Can I cut the track?

Yes. You can cut the tracks on the Rhino-Rack Aero Bar Roof Rack for Camper Shells # Y02-480B to 50" long for installation. Although, this may require you to drill new holes in the tracks for the hardware. It is important to note that these tracks are compatible with hardtop resin roofs without headliners.
However, if you are open to suggestions, I recommend using the following setup for your 2005 Jeep Wrangler:
- Yakima JetStream Crossbars - Aluminum - Black - 50" Long # Y00425
- Yakima 54" Tracks # Y01127
- Yakima SkyLine Towers # Y53TR
- 2 sets of the Landing Pad 1 # Y00221
- Yakima Same-Key Lock Cores # Y07204
Even though these tracks have the same 54-inches of track length involved with this setup, there is an additional advantage: since the Yakima JetStream Crossbars do not have a set-length bottom channel required to attach to the SkyLine towers, you get the benefit of using the full length of the crossbar. With the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars involved in the # Y02-480B, those crossbars have a limited bottom channel on the bars that require you to have the tracks spread out to a certain spread to accommodate those connection points. Also, the Yakima tracks are cuttable so you can shorten them to 50 inches as well.
