Hi I purchased the below brackets to mount my Thule awning 8.5foot Hideaway based on your QandA below. However, the brackets are made for VW Eurovans T4 and do not fit the roofline of a VW Vanagon T3. Can you find the correct ones?

The correct mounting brackets for your Thule HideAway Awning # TH490018 is the Thule HideAway Awning Adapter for VW T2 Microbus # TH307880.
These brackets will work with the VW Bus Type 2 and Type 3, and will work for your VW Vanagon T3.
