I am looking at the Thule hideaway awning for a Winnebago Solis 59P with a pop top. Will this work with his unit and the no drill mounting kit? I was looking at the top of the van and the pop top comes pretty close to the side.

Since your Winnebago Solis 59P has a pop top, instead of using the Dodge ProMaster Van Adapter for Thule HideAway Awning # TH301650 with the Thule HideAway Awning for ProMaster or Sprinter # TH620001, I recommend using the:
-Thule HideAway Awning Adapter for Dodge ProMaster Cargo Van # TH308960 instead.
This kit will allow you to mount the Thule Hideaway awning directly to the side of your camper van, which I believe will work better with your setup, however this kit is not a no-drill kit.
