Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a look together at this Phoenix black steel truck toolbox. Now, this toolbox is a compact, heavy-duty steel storage box. It's built to keep your tools safe, organized, and protected from the elements. A toolbox like this is gonna be especially useful if you work out of your truck, say you're a contractor, a mechanic, or a landscaper, and you need secure storage for hand or power tools.
Maybe you tow or haul equipment and you want to protect your gear from the elements. Or you just like keeping your truck organized and you don't want things rolling around in the bed of your truck. Now let's take a slight close-up here and give you some measurements. So looking at the overall length, we are sitting right at 30 inches long. The overall height, right at 14 inches.
And then the overall depth, 12 inches. Now I wanted to open this up, and this is always tricky and you're probably not really gonna be able to see it too well, but I would like to give you some internal measurements as well. So I pardon for turning my back towards you, or against you. But looking at the length of the inside, I'm gonna say that we're pretty close to about 29 1/2 inches. And then looking at the depth of the inside, we'll say we're right at about 10 1/2 inches.
And then looking at the height, pretty close to about 13 1/2 inches, maybe closer to 13 3/4 inches. So, hopefully that gives you a good idea of what kind of space to expect on the inside. This is gonna be, this box in general is just gonna be a great fit for mounting on your truck bed, a flatbed, or a trailer, either under the bed or along the side. Hardware is not included with this, so no brackets or no hardware, so you would have to source that locally or we do have brackets here at etrailer, so whichever mounting solution's gonna be the best for you. This is just kind of like a standard toolbox from a well-known brand name.
And this box in particular kind of fits in there, but this is probably gonna be more for not so much boxes but just like power tools or a smaller collection of items that you wanna keep all together. Now this box is made with a 1.2 millimeter thick steel body and a 1.5 millimeter steel door. So this is gonna be a strong, durable beal, build rather. This is coated with a black powder coat finish to prevent rust. And it does close securely with this Eberhard Evolution latch. It's a high quality latching system that's designed to resist vibration, weather, and theft. And you are going to get two keys. I think you can see those there. And the lock is right here. So once you've got that door secure, the latch secure rather, stick in one of those keys, give it a turn, and then that's going to lock that. You're not gonna be able to rotate that. And then when you're ready to unlock it, it's gonna be as simple as that. You do have a gasket here, weatherstripping that goes around the entire perimeter, so the contents are going to be safe from the elements, which is great. And so if you carry tools or gear regularly, this box, I believe, is gonna solve a lot of everyday problems. This box is gonna help keep your tools secure. That latch and steel construction is gonna keep your gear safe from theft and road vibration. It's gonna be a great way to organize your space instead of tossing tools in the bed or the cab. This is gonna give you a dedicated, easy-to-access storage spot. So this is gonna help save space. It's got a smaller footprint, again with that 12-inch depth, so it's gonna be easier to mount even on tight setups like trailers or short bed trucks. And it's really gonna look great as well. As you can see, it's got this really sleek, black powder coat finish that I think is gonna hold up really well for you.
