Does 6 inch or 5.5 inch Wide Wheel Have Advantage for Tire Size ST205/75-14

Question:
Hello, it says that these tires can fit 5.5 and 6 inch wide rims, I have not bought the rims yet, is there an advantage to going with 6 inch room over the 5.5 inch wide rim with the same tire

A wider wheel would allow the tire to have a flatter surface across the top of it when inflated which might help a little bit with tire wear but realistically that difference is very miniscule. With the Karrier ST205/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range D Item # AM10235 I'd just go with the wheel style you like the best.
